We did it – all of our efforts accomplished a lovely gift for UNICEF….and I can only shout out a humble and grateful Thank you to each and every one of you.

32 Love recipes were submitted (see contributor’s page).  Lots of lovely photographs.   GeekgirlSF spent hours teaching me how and then using her talents to make it look so “fine.”

Marelisa wrote the eBook that I used to get started.

Talon for the gift of the cover photo.

Lance and Joanne went before me with their Blog4Cause.

Davina edited when I went “brain dead” with writing!  And all the emails and words of encouragement.

Pete and Betsy for the great extra photographs.

And then all the emails sent out, tweets exchanged, and Facebook connections…. The dashboard said a few stumbled on by….what a work of giving and sharing…

$1000  from our anonymous benefactors will be sent to UNICEF because the official stats show  707 reads the second week and 348 reads the first week….my IT thinks there are more reads than 1055, but we could not prove – officially.

So take your best arm and reach over your shoulder and give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.

Now take your other arm and wrap it around – giving yourself a cozy hug!

We did a good thing…we accomplished a goal and won the prize for a lot of children around the world.

Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough…

Woo hoo Patricia! Congratulations… I’m absolutely thrilled. You demonstrated tremendous perseverance and dedication with this project. What a pleasant surprise — last week it didn’t look like there were going to be enough reads to meet the quote and look at what happened. ((((Hugs!))))
