Do Something For The Fun of It

Thursday, July 12th, 2012

Today I am doing something for the fun of it and apparently I am not alone.  While I was preparing to take my partner to a lecture on Living Buildings for his 65th birthday, I came across this video of another birthday celebration.   I thought you would enjoy partaking of this 75th birthday celebration for composer Phillip Glass.

This is a flash mob choir gathering July 12th in Times Square New York City – at 98’F (36.67C )  – to perform without rehearsal a piece of music composed by Phillip Glass.

Was that fun?

What do you do for the fun of it?  Especially when it is hot!

My partner’s birthday party will be Saturday when he rides his bicycle from Seattle to Portland for the 14th time, alone in the 90’F (32.22 C ) heat – he thinks this is fun!

If you purchase anything from Amazon or Powell’s  from this site, I will receive a few beans in my bucket. Thank you.
