My favorite words about Thanksgiving:
Thanksgiving just makes great sense to me as a holiday. It is a holiday about food and you celebrate by eating! ~Liv Monroe
Happy Thanksgiving to all the folks in the USA. May you be full with the blessings of good food, happy family and friends.

Every moment offers infinite opportunities to be thankful. The options to feel and share gratitude are timeless. Thanks for the vibrant photo.

Liara,
Thank you for your comment and for dropping by. I am working at feeling relaxed now and attempting to design a way to not become so intense about these ups and downs.
I am reminded once again about finding my own security within and not getting so attached to the without.
I thought IT Girl truly picked a great picture for this post. Wonder if your little one is getting ready to happy dance?

I love to eat – the tastes the textures the joy of chewing, but I really must now limit unrestricted eating pleasures to just a few days a year –
I have to admit though I agree with my friend this holiday makes sense!

Everyday should be Thanksgiving! Although, I’ve always found it ironic that Black Friday is directly after it it. It’s like “Oh let’s be thankful, now let’s go buy a whole bunch of stuff!”

Steven,
And don’t forget Cyber Monday – I usually take a meditation retreat this weekend and make it a point not to spend any money at all. (I did go pick up some mending that I had done and paid for that)
I am here to say that debt is not the answer, and I think these winter holidays are just secular and about spending money. I put music as my highest priority in the month of December
I wrote personal thank you notes to friends and family this weekend.
