And followed the rules somewhat and gave away 5 of the 15 awards I was presented to give away. I gave them to folks that I had followed and had been supportive to me over my several years of blogging.
This is a group of 5 new bloggers that I am enjoying reading their words and posts and I hope they will pass the award on to a few others so that we can all enjoy this talent and add them to our blogging community. So here goes: 5 Newbies I hope you will enjoy discovering.
~ One Lovely Blog Award~
I did not put these in any particular order.
Who Am I? While that question is probably a little difficult to answer in a paragraph (or even in a lifetime), I can tell you that my name is Meredith, and that I love to ponder life’s mystery and beauty and joys and then write about them. This blog is all about my interactions with Nature during my walks in the woods, visits to Botanical Gardens, in my own small, organic kitchen garden — and anywhere else I happen to be when inspiration strikes.
Meredith is actually taking a wee bit of time off after the death of a beloved family member. I am still wandering around in her archives discovering her lovely pictures and writing about gardens and her thoughts about living in this old world.
Katie Gates Writes
Katie wrote on my blog post and I clicked over to discover her amazing writing. I got hooked on the segments of her first novel that she was sharing on her blog and have now purchased the book because I cannot keep reading at this step by step pace. It is great writing and I am studying her use of dialog, one of her many talents evident in her writing.
A resident of Los Angeles, Katie Gates is a writer and artist. She also serves the nonprofit sector as an independent fundraising consultant.

Mari was an introduction from Joanna also and I am so new I have just made one comment on this blog so far – Beautiful. When I get this piece published I will head back over to sign up for some journaling help because her writing is so powerful and my journaling is so Old School Thinking.
I think you will enjoy hearing Mari sing her song too.
When a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) exacerbation kidnapped my body’s right side, I needed some way to teach myself how to write with my left hand. So I started free writing (stream of consciousness) in a journal notebook. I got more than a functioning left hand! What I discovered (and the discoveries continue) was my true Self, buried under the old, negative, hypercritical baggage (I call it crazycrap) I’ve been carrying around since childhood.
My self-therapy journaling helps me revise my thoughts and determine what I want to be, do and have in my life. It guides me in adjusting my attitudes, modifying my behavior and creating a happier relationship with myself. And my Journal’s teaching me how to write again with my right hand!
Snaggle Tooth lives in Cape Cod Maine and shares her photography and art work on her spot. She works several jobs and I could not get a picture of her so maybe she will share one on her avatar. I like her stories about her rather unruly neighbors and getting back and forth to work in all sorts of weather, and I feel as though I am visiting a favorite spot and discovering new ones on her site. I am always delighted when I see her commenting on folk’s blogs because I just know she has something unique to share.
Artist Alert! I create all kinds of things. Closet musician, song-writer, Story, NF writer, Book Designer, Poet, Painter, n Sculptor. Working another job tho. Long hair, fairly ancient. Where’s the Dough? Maybe I’ll get paid some instead of eating it. I’ll get there one day soon, because I’m very determined n hard-working. Someone has to do it! As usual, I’ll volunteer. Time n energy helps.
Conduit of Joy
I was introduced to Kara by Lisa of Practical Intuitive and have enjoyed her blog ever since. Kara will do a reading for you for free if you subscribe to her blog and that was quite a remarkable experience for me, helping me to reveal my intuitive side and peel away some of the layers of my thinking that were not so conducive to being my best self. I have enjoyed learning all the new information from her articles and I think you might enjoy her spot too. Another Lawyer with a writing career!
A few words about Kara:
I believe that the highest good any person can achieve is by being fully themselves to the highest degree possible. I believe that if a person uses her or his talents as fully and authentically as possible, s/he is honoring the Divine in the highest and most honorable way. By being ourselves, and serving others with those talents, we fulfill the reason we were put on Earth.
My greatest fulfillment is seeing others become more authentically themselves.

Jungs Programme Notes
Yep! This is number 6 and I said I was giving away 5, but this blogger does not fit into the Lovely Blog Category. From what I can tell, Miles McClagan is from Scotland originally and now lives in Tasmania. The music videos that are shared are very interesting and I attempt to figure out often how they relate to the writing. I just so enjoy reading these words and the descriptions – I thought you might like to know?
Mile’s Own Words:
A blog about pride in the local area of Tasmania, pride in the fresh clean air, and pride in the great girl I fancy with the blue eye shadow.
“I’m thinking of turning my blog into a 20/20 blog – a 20 word point counterpoint argument with myself….
The criteria for accepting the award are as follows:
• Post it with the name of the person who granted you the award along with a link to her Web site.

Looking forward to your lovely comments:
