I know others keep them going for a long time, but never had one with 9 blooms before. I am so enjoying reading this book the second time around - he paints lovely pictures with his words. I feel calm reading it. You too have a wonderful week. Keeping you close in my thoughts Tess, I envy you being able to keep flowers going for so long. I do have luck with cyclamen in my cold house! but not much else. My poinsettia lasted all of 4 days this year ! I am so enjoying this book and the word pictures. And it is calming to read. It's an older book, I just looked up and my library has 6 copies on the shelves right now. Talon, I torn the ligament by my stomach and diaphragm again! So I am to stay still as much as possible - I am focusing on finding the joy and beauty in my situation. I think I caught it in this post? It is not the greatest book on the planet, but the author has a number of inspiring word pictures. The book is fiction, but based on a road trip he actually drove - so the locations are real. That makes it fun too - you could stay and eat at the Bed and Breakfasts he describes in Pennsylvania - and he captured Youngstown, Ohio just the way I remember it...Thank you for coming on by Hilary,
