I am not going to write much here, because I want my daughter to put up some more of her wonderful pictures from our trip – a remembering vacation for the holiday weekend.
These are pictures from our tour of the UK July-August 2009.
I want to see more pictures – I will let her caption them. Which you may read by placing your cursor over the picture.
Bring ‘em on!

Lovely! And that’s one huge “koo.”

They’re all wonderfully craggy and moody! Love it!

Dot,
I thought this was a clever way to see more of the pictures! The beast was outside of Blair Castles – they were huge and several were vamping for the camera
Betsy,
This was fun – though daughter says it was a cope out! What does she know? I wanted to see more of the great pictures she took! I am thinking clever and beautiful!

Oh, I just LOVE them all. The York bicycle is my fav, tho.
And the jester made me laugh.
Talent runs deeply in your family. Amazing shots.

Jannie,
Glad you liked the pictures…the jester is truly a picture of Jannie the jester of this blog community !
I thought the bike was a clever way to advertise their arts festival, we saw several well planted bikes

It’s a shame to have Nessie confined to such close quarters, but I’m glad she’s been found.
I really like the sunrise at ruin shot.

JD
thank you for coming on by and saying hello – I was snoozing on the bus and skipped Nessie! That is a confining spot in the middle of tourist mania.
My daughter’s pictures are just lovely – I hope we will see more of them along the way.

Glad everyone is enjoying the pictures… I enjoyed taking them!

Bunny,
It was a wonder full trip and I love sharing the moment with everyone here – adding more to the experience and the memories.
Thank you for your hug – I got it!
Zeenat,
Welcome, welcome and thank you for your good thoughts – we found several floral designed or living bikes along the way and they just brought about a feeling of delight.
My kiddo does have a good eye and she finds all the pictures I use on the blog or we take them…(she photo-shops my contributions!) She does all my IT work as I am not skilled in that area.
I appreciate your good comments – Thank you

Please tell your daughter we’re all clapping, asking for encores!

I know not all 700 pictures were keepers and that my daughter is back at school, but I will try to keep getting some more views here – I have not seen most of the pictures yet myself.
My photographer is my IT person and she is reading comments here – will see if she can do an other pictorial mini vacation soon
Thank you

Hi Patricia – What beautiful pictures. I’m laughing at the spelling of highland cow (koo), as that’s exactly how they say it in Scotland.
Where did you like best? I haven’t been to Sky yet but I’ve visited many of the other places in your pics. I love York and Stratford.
And I did a course in Bath a few years ago. It’s lovely but apparently it is very polluted.

Hello Cath,
I really liked all the places I went on this trip – it would be hard to pick. But with only 3.5 days in Scotland that was not enough, when the original walking tour was 15 days in Scotland.
40 minutes stops in so many places was definitely not enough – and I did not meet many people, which would have been my first love.
