Thank you for coming by – after taking the lessons and attempting last year to sculpt – I can tell you it is extremely difficult and I do not have the talent at all – though I am fairly good with clay and bread dough!

I hope the whoosh gets on You Tube – it is amazing

The sand sculptures are awesome. I’m always in awe of what people can create with something like sand – such talent.

Jannie,
The sculptures are solid sand – the buckets are like molds or forms to shape the sand – the sand is tamped into the mold then carefully removed. Then the carver sculpts.

Hemp festival is to celebrate all the things one can do with hemp (such as clothing and rope and food) and also to promote making it Legal here as in Canada

Oh no, the Tiki went whoosh. I never realized they were not solid sand, clever to use the buckets and such inside teh sculptures.
