Friar
No mention indeed...now I could wax eloquent and then there is our local seagull problem -

Is a nice poem! Robert Frost was pretty fair with words.

It is snowing again this morning Dot, and all the daffodils are buried again and the fruit trees are just ready to burst - the Mason Bees are dying for waiting for the cold to pass by and some warmth to come along.

Frost is just wonderful...I read him often

What I love about Frost is his focus on nature. I've always been tuned in to nature, and more so since I'm outdoors with nothing to do a lot (waiting for the bus). I observe all the little changes as each season progresses. I stare at the tree branches and check the shade of green on any leaves I may see. My crocuses came up extra strong this year -- I had 15 instead of the usual 5. They're wilted now. The magnolia trees at our metro station stayed in bud for two weeks, because it was so cold. The buds are finally beginning to open.

The annual festival for the cherry trees has begun, but the blooms haven't. It's just been colder than normal. Still, the sunlight has changed, the birds are back singing in the morning, and I see daffodils here and there.

Hi JD
Yep I love spring and I saw that the Mason Bees are looking for the orchard blossoms which are a bit behind schedule. The bumble bees are in the Christmas Cheer Rhody - hope it stops snowing everyday and we get some of the warm too!

Davina,
Yep a love affair with Mr. Frost's words and muse....did you see the Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) speech at the TED lectures about the muse - very creative words too!...

Barb,
I am calling to beg off this medication this morning - I have had enough....I know Spring in Northern Ohio...It was lovely...very very WET and snowy here for some reason - beautiful but too cold still? Thank you for stopping on by

Poor Patricia! I hate medications! (I know, sometimes they're a God-send. But not the junk that comes on the side.)

Sure hope you're better by now.

Love the poem. This morning I woke up to sunshine and the hope of warm. But it's still cold. That's okay. It's March in northern Ohio after all... And renewal is evident everywhere. Each little bud of color poking through the ground inspires and delights me.

Thanks...
Barb

Hi Patricia. I love, love, love Robert Frost. He is my favourite poet. "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" is my all-time favourite one of his. This was a beautiful one too. There is something soothing about Robert Frost's poetry. Thanks. This was the perfect end to a perfect, but busy day.

I'm such a fan of renewal.

Whether it's rejuvenate, renew, re-engineer, reinvent ... it's all good. There's something so fresh about Spring.

As much as bees bug me, I do like the first buzz in Spring.

Being in the moment is hard work for me, particularly when I am not comfortable in the moment I am in! Patience is not one of my personal virtues! But it is so worthwhile when I can arrive in the moment and just go with the flow.

Being in the moment is so hard for me. But it certainly leads to a happier life.
