We did have our special food traditions, which I sometimes cook for myself now. Family being such a problem in my background, this is no longer a family time for me. They have all the old favorites - not always with the same name, but so many things... Grapes bringing a flood of memory...oh yes! that is part of the magic....Christmas year round! You are welcome....I lived with three of those fun and "pesty" creatures and now they do most of our holiday planning and actions and let me know what they would like me to do ...mostly it is get the tree, and put magic in the stockings...oh yes and cook the main meal! To this day, be it July or January when I eat a red grape I feel a flood of Christmas. Simplify it whenever possible, love that idea.
